Taylor Swift chose to go the humorous route when it came to her choice of Halloween costume on Sunday, however her fans thought it was another piece to a puzzle.
The 31-year-old superstar showed off a massive furry squirrel costume and joked 'can't talk right now, I'm doin hot squirrel s**t,' but her Swifties took it as a hint at a recently shot project.
On Sunday October 24, New York based social media users captured a filming notice for a project titled 'Acorn' that shot on Swift's street, and continued to see the squirrel costume as another clue.
Taylor posted two photos to Instagram and Twitter, one of her from the side and one straight on.
The costume was brown with a white tummy and undertail to matching the squirrel's markings and included an enormous head with two buck teeth.
The Wildest Dreams singer tucked her blonde locks into a braid for the evening and seemed to go with a bright pink lipstick for a splash of color.
